Feature requests
Have an idea that could make LuxGrimoire better? Learn how to submit feature requests, vote for community ideas, and follow the development process.
As a fellow collector, you probably already have your own way of organizing and cataloguing your collection. You may also have ideas about how you would like to track your editions, interact with the community, or make LuxGrimoire even better.
Whenever you see an opportunity for improvement — or have a completely new idea that is not already covered by our Roadmap — let us know!
Where to find feature requests
You can access Feature Requests by searching for it in the footer of the app or by clicking here!
Once you open the page, you will see all feature requests submitted by the community.
The page is divided into several sections:
- My submissions — view your submitted requests and their current status
- Community requests — browse ideas submitted by other users and vote for features you would like to see
- Implemented features — see features that have already been added to LuxGrimoire
Submitting a new feature request
If you cannot find the feature you are looking for, click the + Suggest Feature button at the top of the page.
You will be asked to provide:
Feature title
Keep your title short and clear. It should help other users quickly understand what the idea is about and decide whether it is something they would like to support.
Description
This is where you can explain your idea in detail.
Describe:
- what problem you are trying to solve
- how you would like the feature to work
- any examples or additional details that could help us understand your vision
The more context you provide, the better we can evaluate the idea and — if implemented — make sure it works in a way that matches your expectations.
What happens after submitting?
Once submitted, your request will be reviewed by admins.
If approved, it will become available for the community to vote on. Make sure to share it with other collectors who might find it useful — more votes help us understand which features are most important to users.
If your request is rejected, you will receive an explanation. Do not let this discourage you! Sometimes an idea needs a different approach, more details, or a different scope. You can always revise it and submit a new request.
How are features selected?
There is no specific vote threshold that automatically means a feature will be implemented.
Each request is evaluated from multiple perspectives, including:
- how it improves LuxGrimoire
- how it fits the overall direction of the app
- the amount of work required
- community interest and engagement
- other technical and product considerations
LuxGrimoire is built for collectors, but it also needs to remain a consistent, usable application. Not every idea can be implemented exactly as suggested — sometimes changes need to be adapted to keep the experience simple and enjoyable for everyone.
